Rhiannon is a Welsh horse goddess in the Mabinogi, the earliest prose stories of the literature of Britain. Like other figures of British/Welsh literary tradition, It is generally accepted among scholars that Rhiannon and the Gaulish horse goddess Epona are somewhat related or maybe the same deity. She and her son are often depicted as mare and foal. Like Epona and her horses might also been leaders of the soul in the after-life ride.
Highly collectable and detailed figurines.
Nicely boxed.
Cast from solid bronze resin for a weighty figurine.
This item is not a toy and is designed as a collector's statue.
Cold cast bronze combines real bronze powder with resin to create sculptures that replicate the look and weight of solid bronze. The pieces are highly detailed, with finely crafted textures and a smooth, polished finish. Each statue is substantial in weight, offering a realistic and durable representation of traditional bronze craftsmanship.
