Foreshadowing a brutal game of power and fate, this prologue introduces this mythic, yet sinister priestess known as Batari, while a young Pagan Min clashes with his ruthless father, Gang Min, a drug lord of Hong Kong's Triad Empire. Defiant and disillusioned, Pagan attempts to escape this life of violence and manipulation by rescuing Yuma, his adoptive sister caught in their father's schemes.

Then, their runaway comes to a halt and, as all hope seems lost, a mysterious explosion of black flames takes Pagan and Yuma to Batari's surreal, otherworldly universe-marking the beginning of a dangerous new chapter.
