Perun is the supreme god of thunder and lightning in Slavic mythology, often compared to Thor in Norse mythology and Zeus in Greek mythology. As the chief deity, Perun is associated with war, law, and order, wielding a mighty axe or hammer to strike down his enemies and protect the realm. He is revered as a powerful and just god, symbolizing strength and authority.
